The Reptile Guy’s Conservation Foundation
The Reptile Guy attended a Conservation Conference in Denver Colorado last October (2015) and discovered the path he would like the rescue and education center to go on. Once our education program is fully self sustaining, the reptile guy would like to start up a conservation foundation. This foundation will begin to raise money for conservation projects both locally (coastal painted turtle project, checker spotted butterfly, Oregon spotted frog) and foreign. This conference really opened our eyes to the big problems that so many species are facing. We will still be doing the local rescue and education but we are hoping to turn this in to a source of funding for conservation around the world!
